Chakdaha College

The Department of Mathematics was established in 1981. At the very beginning Mathematics used to be taught in Commerce (Gen/Hons.) and in H.S. classes. The curriculum in Mathematics in Science classes was established in 1983. At that time the subject used to be taught in B.Sc. (General) course only. The Honours curriculum was introduced in the year 2000. At present we also have teachers teaching courses in Commerce (Business Mathematics) and Botany (Biometry).
